Battlefield:Bad Company 2 DLC

EA chief financial officer Eric Brown has revealed an extensive DLC plan over the next half year for DICE's shooter Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

Brown made an address last week at the Wedbush Securities 8th Annual New York MAC Conference stating that BFBC2 will receive an "extensive paid digital content plan with players receiving multiple packs of $5, $10 and $15" over the following six months.

The second map pack will be made available on the 30th of March on all platforms at no extra cost to all of you who’ve got your VIP codes entered in the game. VIP Map Pack 2 contains the following:

Arica Harbor Conquest mode - US Command launches a break through action directly at the Russian base. Collateral damage is of no consequence. Capture and secure tactical positions in Conquest Mode across the vast Arica Harbor map.

Laguna Presa Rush mode - The valley and surrounding mountains possess a strategic value in the battle for South America, and an infantry assault supported by light armor vehicles is likely by both armies as US forces defend the nearby Dam.

Late March DLC

(Maps are free but camouflaged spec is pay to play)

Later on in March, there will be 2 new game-modes added to existing maps. Arica Harbor will get a new “Conquest” Game Mode, and Laguna Presa will get a “Rush” Game Mode.

There also will be a Specialization Upgrade for each class. The Specialization upgrade’s are as follows:

* Assault: Unique camouflaged M16A2 and matching camo’s.
* Engineer: Unique camouflaged UMP-45 and matching camo’s.
* Medic: Unique camouflaged MG3 and matching camo’s
* Recon: Unique Camouflaged M95 and matching camo’s

The Camos are supposed to be one class per Dr. Pepper code... Originally they were supposed to be the 18th, but they may get pushed back to the same date as the free map pack....so we may be looking at the 30th.

Either the page refreshes or times out. Last night the EG site was...rather unreliable... I lost a frackin' huge write up of the match... Parafuckingraphs...
