As if the proposition of getting to try out a brand new map for Battlefield Play4Free as well as Jets, Helicopters and Boats wasn't enough, we will also be giving away PC gaming hardware and Battlefield Heroes merchandise during our stress test on Saturday the 29th of January!

The prizes:

* Four runners-up (those who posted their screenshot 2nd,3rd,4th and 5th) will receive 1 Battlefield Heroes t-shirt and 1 Battlefield Heroes dog tag.




What you have to do:

* Be the first (second, third, fourth or fifth) to post a screenshot of themselves kamikaziing a Jet or Helicopter into Silvanoshi, Modde, ShadeShooter, U-238 or Goodman in THIS thread.
* You must kamikaze into one of the above between 2100 CET and BEFORE 22:00:00 CET on Saturday, January 29th, 2011.
* On Monday we will send those who will receive items from us a PM on the forums with further instructions.


We don't normally encourage kamikaziing, but this is a Closed Beta and we need to make sure EVERYTHING is tested thoroughly. Think of this 30 minute window as the one occasion where you legitimately have a reason to kamikaze (assuming one of us is in the server of course Wink ). A player with any kind of skill will fly, shoot and bomb rather than kamikaze under normal circumstances anyway.

i downloaded the update but wasnt able to play saturday, i had to get out of my house for a bit. but you can still play the new map thats out to stay i think.

It is time for that stage of the beta where we wipe the slate clean, even out the battlefield, and send the soldiers back out to fight, refreshed and ready for anything.

What does this mean you ask?

Well, we will be deleting all closed beta soldiers on Tuesday 22nd February. We know you’re sad to see them go but a fresh start was an inevitable part of the closed beta. Rest assured, this is the one and only reset we are going to do. Even though we removed your soldiers, we haven’t touched your account so you still have your friend’s list and forum posts.

Also remember, the first soldier you create is your ‘Main’. This is the name you will go by in places like the forums. So make pick a good one!

This will be performed during this announced maintenance!
