John Carpenter to add scares to F.E.A.R. 3

Warner have finally officially announced F.E.A.R. 3, confirming plans to bring the cast of the first game back including the dead ones (or at least that guy that took a bullet to the head).

They have also announced a change of developer, with Day 1 Studios taking over control of the series from Monolith.
Day 1 also have help in the shape of Steve Niles (the writer of 30 Days of Night) and legendary horror director John Carpenter.
The actual game itself will feature co-op play and a cover system as well just for good measure.
F.E.A.R. 3 is due this autumn on Xbox 360, PS3 and the PC.

I love the FEAR series. The campaigns have had interesting plots and the multiplayer has been awesome (Fear 2 had armored suits you could control with machine guns and rocket launchers). The weapons are pretty sweet too. Alma will be back again!
