March 26th, the release date for NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 and 470 Fermi cards

The company is pretty close on launching their new products: GeForce GTX 480 and GeForce GTX 470. The most exciting feature on this graphic accelerators is that they are the first ones to use the Fermi architecture. Their release date is over a month, on Friday, March 26th. The NVIDIA launch coincide with the opening of the Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) East 2010, where NVIDIA is a major sponsor.

I’m sure that this is not just a simple coincidence....

These will be Nvidias first DirectX 11 parts, finally bringing them to parity with AMDs new generation of cards.
