    The base is 14 x 16 with a 250mm fan on top. Its as big as it needs to be. I got creative with wiring so you hardly see any from the front. Now that I only have 3 fans (top 250mm 400rpm, 120mm noctua 500rpm idle and the one in the 460) its really quite. EVGA is about to release a new bios for the 460 to allow 30% idle fan speed instead of 40% so it will be even quieter. I love this case.
